" Two dancers on the stage are enough material for a story; for me, they are already a story in themselves... Much can be said in movement that cannot be expressed by words. Movement must be self-explanatory. If it isn't, it has failed." -George Balanchine.

As an artist, I am a researcher of movement. I seek to explore and experiment with the infinite vocabulary of movement. This research questions the efficiency of the body. I am interested in how we, as dancers, can learn from our innate human movements, and how these same movements can integrate in the realm of concert dance. I seek to perform and create works that are both intellectually stimulating as well as aesthetically invigorating. Through this examination, I am able to enrich myself and others as a mover, choreographer and educator.

As an educator, it is my mission to instruct movement in a safe a purposeful manner. Through a dance education, not only can we learn about our own bodies and interests. It is a tool to reach others, Movement is a constant throughout each and every human in the world. To better understand each other and the world we can speak through movement.
